Selection of Work
Members Gallery at Seacourt Print Workshop a selection of work created at Kala Art institute Berkeley CA; Kerikeri New Zealand and some new work in glass. Walking the City: My project for KALA was to make-work in response to the environment, people and culture I encountered during the residency. Hidden Narritive: This work came about by chance. I discovered the most beautiful floor at Bullseye Glass. The shadows of the artwork; windows and structure of the building coming together to create a transient visual narrative. But this is more than just a visual narrative; these images reflect my experience during a time of unease. Brave New World: I was invited to create a sculptural work for the Inaugural exhibition at the Wharepuke Sculpture Park New Zealand. The work explores connections between people and place.
