Hidden Narratives

The work consists of a suite of prints and a hand-made book from photographs and video taken at the Bullseye Glass Resource Centre Bay Area. On a visit to an exhibition at Bullseye Glass I discovered the most beautiful floor, the shadows of the artwork, windows and structure of the building coming together to create a transient visual narrative. This discovery became the impetus of my creative output and the floor became a lifeline during my residency giving me the strength to go forward. These images reflect my response to the difficulties I experienced documenting more than the physical, or visual narrative they represent but also the ‘Hidden’ narrative of my experience during a time of unease.
